He said that Britain houses more than 600,000 Kashmiri nationals belonging from the destroyed and affected areas, and they are restless and visibly shaken of the destruction and havoc the quake has caused, says a press release issued here on Thursday.

He vowed that Muslim Aid would play a major role in the rehabilitation process of the quake-affected areas, and has contacted the governments of Azad Kashmir and NWFP in this regard.
He said that Muslim Aid would also allocate funds for NGOs working for the relief and rehabilitation of the quake-affected areas. It has already forwarded one million pounds worth of tents, medicines, blankets and rations, as preliminary aid to the affected areas.
